Dorte Karrebaek es una escritora e ilustradora de Origen danés que actualmente reside en España. Entre algunas de sus numerosas obras se encuentran: Hamlet, El campamento (Lejren), Tontaina, Mona, El libro negro, La funeraria de los niños … Su trabajo está rodeado por poética especial, sin miedo a temas tabú y con un estilo que parte del expresionismo pudiendo llegar a lo grotesco y humorístico, sin perder de vista nunca a su público: los niños. Dorte dice lo siguiente cuando habla sobre su libro Lejren (El campamento) “Yo no puedo hacer nada por la gente que está en los campos directamente, pero sí puedo hacer un libro para que no sea ignorada. Ignorar a la gente, sus problemas, es lo más cruel que está ocurriendo en este mundo.”
Dorte Karrebaek is a danish writer and illustrator currently residing in Spain.
